Application open for Zinkernagel-Doherty Award
The John Curtin School of Medical Research of the Australian National University (ANU) is currently accepting applications for the Zinkernagel-Doherty "Freedom to Discover" Career Development Award for Medical Discovery. This position was created in honour of the Swiss Nobel Prize winner Rolf Zinkernagel who's work was supervised by Peter Doherty.
This new career development award program will offer the successful candidate an opportunity to rapidly foster innovation, discovery, and major breakthroughs in medical research. This award will provide five years of salary support, commensurate with experience as per ANU salary scales, overseen by a mentorship committee.
Application deadline has been extended to Friday 30 September 2011.
