Professor Peter Zweifel from the University of Zurich Department of Economics will stay at the UWA Business School for six weeks. During his visit, he will conduct collaborative research with Associate Professor Anu Rammohan on health economics and he will consult with Amy Khuu on an honours project on agricultural crop insurance. He will also lecture for six hours on insurance economics in the Master of Economics program and he will present a research seminar on the Basel II accord on bank capital requirements. These activities promote collaborative research in economics between Australia and Switzerland and demonstrate SAAN's committment to supporting academic exchanges between Swiss and Australian researchers and institutions.
