USYD World Scholars 2009-2010 open for Swiss researchers

Switzerland has been included as participating country for this year's intake of University of Sydney World Scholars. Each year, up to 20 highly prestigious, competitive PhD scholarships are awarded to outstanding international research students. The scholarship covers the full cost of tuition fees for three years and a travel contribution of up to A$1,250 each way.

Open positions @ USYD Medical School

The Centre for Vascular Research at Sydney Medical School has two open positions available for results-driven and dedicated post-doctoral research associates: one for a Molecular Biologist and the other for an Experimental Atherosclerosis Scientist. Both positions provide opportunities to supervise staff and students.

Master of Advanced Studies (LL.M.) in International Humanitarian Law

For those interested in the field of international law in armed conflict, the Geneva Academy of international humanitarian law and human rights (ADH) offers a LL.M. Degree programme. Applications are considered until February 15 2010. There are also a number grants offered by the Academy to cover tuition fees and living expenses in Geneve during the programme.
