The Summer Study Programme (SSP) at the University of St.Gallen is a high-calibre, 3.5-week integrated programme primarily for junior and senior undergraduate students from leading universities all over the world.

For Women in Science
Within the framework of the Programme "For Women in Science", launched in 1998, l'Oréal Switzerland, in cooperation with the UNESCO Commission in Switzerland and the Swiss Academies of Arts and Sciences, initiated a national support programme. The grant, amounting to 160'000 Swiss Francs, aims at encouraging women in pursuing a research career and at promoting research excellence.

ETH Zurich Excellence & Opportunity Programme
Under the Excellence Scholarship & Opportunity Programme ETH Zurich awards merit-based scholarships to excellent students wishing to pursue a Master’s degree.
Application for an Excellence Scholarship is open both to ETH students and students from other universities (national and international) wishing to pursue their Master’s degree at ETH Zurich. The scholarship can be awarded to students who belong to the best 10 percent of their Bachelor programme.

University of Bern Master Grants for international students
The University of Bern offers six Excellence Grants for international students who wish to do a Master's programme in autumn 2010/11.

University of Lugano and USYD joint exchange programme
Since March 2009, the University of Lugano and the University of Sydney have a university-wide exchange programme for undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Lucerne School of Business - Master in Business Administration - Major Tourism 
With its strong international and industry focus and its unique combination of service management and tourism the programme offers excellent conditions for a career in tourism or related industries. The programme is taught entirely in English.

Switzerland - European Ieader in innovation
The European Innovation Scoreboard (EIS) provides a comparative assessment of the innovation performance of Europe. According to EIS, Switzerland has improved its performance in 2008 and now is European champion in Innovation.

swiTTreport - Swiss Technology Transfer
For the third time, swiTT carried out a survey on the interaction between Swiss public research institutions and economic partners. The data was provided by eight universities and the two Swiss Federal Institutes of Technology (collectively Universities), the seven Universities of Applied Sciences (UAS), and two research institutes in the ETH domain.The report shows that the activities of the research institutions have largely increased and illustrates strong dynamism in the interaction between the research institution and the economy.
